  1. Sweep Up

The first step in cleaning your hardwood floors is to sweep/vacuum the area to get rid of any dirt or debris. Without doing this, you can cause scratching to the surface of the floor.

  2. Get Your Solution Ready

There are so many cleaning solutions that you can purchase, but you probably have the proper supplies right in your home! A mixture of hot water and a couple drops of dish soap do the job! No need to shake this, just mix it gently and it is ready to be used!

  3. Dry While Cleaning!

Always remember that water is a wood floor's worst enemy. You'll want to make sure to focus on small areas at a time to allow them to dry. If you prefer to not be on your hands and knees the entire time, we suggest a spin mop. This will allow control over how much water is going onto the floor and you'll have sparkling clean floors in no time!

Happy Cleaning!
